The current Teke House has served the fraternity well since 1980, built at the turn of the century, the house is in horrible shape.  There have been several new fraternities colonize our campus. Our current house poses a rush liability and a health and fire hazard.

With the chapter nearing it's 50th birthday, several alumni and the board of Advisors met and discussed the options.  The decision was made that the chapter was mature enough to launch the biggest fundraiser ever undertaken by Epsilon - Sigma Chapter.  WE WOULD BUILD A NEW TEKEHOUSE

We would be asking alumni to donate the largest amount they have ever given to the chapter.  Great care was taken to protect those Frater's investment.

The Alumni formed "In The Bond Partnership, L.L.C." which would make most donors members of the limited liability company.  These shareholders would be protected with an equity stake and a share in any sales proceeds if the chapter failed.  Upon paying off the mortgage, those fraters participating would be paid back for their investment. We have raised over $30,000.00 as of this date.  With more pledged.  This was enough to begin bare-boned construction, however, additional donations are needed to lower the actual mortgage which will result in a more competitive and affordable rent payment from the undergraduates.

Your donation will help us:

  • Lower the mortgage payment thereby reducing the monthly rent from the undergraduates.
  • Provide furnishings
  • allow for some "add-ons" that we would like to include in the construction such as a "safe-room"
  • allow some "comfort room" for future mortgage payments during fraternity downturns.
